Today
Who arrives, who leaves, who is in the house.

In the house
To-dos
What you noted on a stay for today or earlier — a cot to prepare, flowers to order. Add them on the stay.
Requests waiting
Somebody asked on your website and is waiting for a yes or a no. Each one holds a room until you answer.
Housekeeping
Tap a room to mark it clean. A room is marked "to clean" by itself at check-out.
This month
Nights sold over nights you could have sold, the average rate, and who came from where — the figures the statistics office asks for.
Stays
Every booking, room by room. Tap a stay to open it; tap an empty night to start one there.
Rooms
What you sell, and the doors it lives behind. A room type is what the booking form offers; each room behind it is what the calendar fills.
A range (101 to 110), a list (201, 202, 205), or both. They are saved at once, clean, each with its own calendar address.
Rates
Your prices by night, and the rules guests book under. Prices include VAT; the tourist tax is added on top.
Change several days at once
Seasons are just several days changed at once — there is nothing else to set up. Leave a field empty to keep what is there.
Breakfast, parking, a cot, late check-out. Priced per stay, per night, per person, or per person per night. Guests tick the ones marked Online when they book on your website; one Always included is added to every stay by itself. A limit a day (two parking spaces) stops the form offering it once it is taken; you can still add it at the desk.
Guests
Everyone who has stayed here, built from their bookings. Notes and VIP tags the desk sees at check-in.
Channels
Keep Booking.com, Airbnb and your website from selling the same room twice.
Kwipps swaps calendars with the other sites you sell on. When a room is booked there, it is blocked here within the hour; when it is booked here, it is blocked there as soon as that site reads your calendar. Prices are not sent — set them on each site. This is calendar sync (iCal), not a connection to those sites' own systems.
Your rooms on other sites
Add a calendar from another site
On Booking.com: Rates & Availability › Sync calendars › Export calendar, one link per room. On Airbnb: Calendar › Availability settings › Sync calendars › Export.
Your calendars, for them
Paste each room's address into the other site's "Import calendar". Anyone with the address can see when the room is booked (never who), so keep it to those sites.
Blocked by you
Nights a room is not for sale for your own reasons — painting, a family visit. Blocks read from another site's calendar are listed in the calendar, not here.
Your booking page can be the booking link on your Google Business Profile.
Policies
What guests agree to when they book, when your doors open, and the switch that puts the booking form on your website.
Arrival and departure
Confirming and paying
Off: every website booking is a request you answer, within a day if you can. On: a free room is booked the moment the guest asks, and you are told.
Leave the time empty to keep the whole of that day free. Guests see the exact moment on their own page, and cancel there themselves; nothing is charged by itself.
Longer stays
A percentage off the room for stays of so many nights or more — up to three steps, such as 10 % from 7 nights and 25 % from 28. The longest step a stay reaches applies. A rate plan can have its own under Rates.
Taxes
The booking form asks for the children's ages, so the tax on the bill follows your commune's bands. A child whose age was not given pays nothing; correct the bill if it should.
Prices include VAT; the invoice shows the VAT contained. The tourist tax carries none and is shown apart.
For arriving guests
What the booking form asks
Besides the dates and the guests, your form can ask roughly when they arrive, and up to five questions of your own — a line of text or a tick box. The answers come with the request email and sit on the stay.
Housekeeping tasks
What comes round in the rooms — fresh towels every 2nd night, a full clean on departure, a welcome basket on the arrival day. Today's housekeeping card lists which rooms need which, with a Done tap per room.
Guests check themselves in
On the arrival day, the guest's own page (the link in every email) shows "I've arrived — check me in". It checks them in exactly as your Check in button does — the room, the bill — and Today shows "Checked in by the guest".
Shown on the guest's own page only after they are checked in — never in an email. A room still marked to clean is not handed out: the guest is asked to try again or come to the desk.
After the stay
Off by default. Needs your Google review link under Settings › Links; guests can say no with one click, and are never asked again.
Where bookings are sent, and the bill
Getting paid
With an IBAN, every invoice carries a Swiss QR-bill for the balance due, with its own payment reference. Leave it empty and the invoice has no payment part.
Deposits by card or TWINT go through Stripe into your own account (Business, Pro or Tools; connect it under Settings › Getting paid). TWINT shows whenever the account offers it.
Bookkeeping: every charge and payment of a month, with its VAT, as a CSV — under Today › This month.
A code guests type on the booking form: a percentage or an amount off the room (never the extras or the tourist tax), for the dates, room types and number of uses you choose. The form shows its coupon field only while a code can be used. Capitals don't matter: summer is SUMMER.
Your own website already has the form. To take bookings from another page too — an older website, a tourist office listing, a blog — use one of these three. Every booking still arrives here, under the same rules.
Emails you write once, and Kwipps sends to every guest at the right moment — a welcome when the stay is confirmed, directions a few days before, a thank-you after. Each goes once per stay, in the guest's language when you wrote it and in English otherwise. The arrival details and the review request above keep going as they do.
